RICOCHET STRIKE
Pilot your ship through high-density drone fields. When the enemy hides behind front-facing shields, use the arena walls to bounce your shots and strike from the shadows.
RICOCHET STRIKE
Reflect shots. Break shields. Survive the swarm.
Ricochet Strike editorial notes
Ricochet Strike is a tactical physics shooter about angles, reflection, and anticipation.
The core value of a ricochet mechanic is that it forces the player to think two steps ahead. Instead of simply aiming at a target, the player must calculate the bounce path off the arena boundaries. This shifts the game from a pure reflex test into a spatial reasoning exercise, where the environment itself becomes a weapon.
Tactical depth is further enhanced by the inclusion of shielded drones. Since these enemies block direct frontal fire, the player must use the ricochet logic to bypass defenses. This encourages experimentation with different angles and teaches the importance of "leading" targets into the path of a bouncing projectile rather than chasing them directly.
Use the side walls to "bank" shots behind shielded enemies.
Bullets last for up to 4 bouncesโclear clusters with a single well-aimed burst.
Stay near the center of the arena to maintain the widest range of shooting angles.
Where to go next
Players who enjoy this format often get the most value from rotating between related games. Switching formats keeps the session fresh while still practising attention, recall, timing, or social decision-making.
How to Play
Tactical Bouncing
Your projectiles reflect off all four walls. Use this to hit enemies from unexpected angles or to clear out clusters of drones without putting yourself in direct danger.
Shield Breakers
Elite drones carry rotating shields that block all frontal attacks. You must calculate the ricochet path to hit them from the side or back to bypass their defenses.
Controls
Use WASD or Arrow Keys to move and rotate your ship. Press Space to fire your bouncing pulse cannon.
