Foundation Skills
Intersection (A ∩ B)
The middle part where both things happen.
Example: Students who like both Maths and Art.
Union (A ∪ B)
Everything inside both circles. "A or B or both".
Complement (A')
Everything NOT in A.
Higher Skills
Conditional Venns
P(A|B) means "Probability of A GIVEN B". Your new total is only the people in circle B.
Three-Circle Venns
Handle overlapping groups for three categories. Always start from the very center (the intersection of all three) and work outwards.
